Position Details:

  • Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist (Contract)
  • Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
  • Employment Type: Contract
  • Duration: Full school year
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
  • Develop and implement personalized therapy plans to address students' communication challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social development.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, making adjustments to therapy strategies as necessary.
  • Provide training and guidance to school staff on speech and language-related issues.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution.
  • Valid license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Indiana.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of recent experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
