Responsibilities:

  • Offer technical guidance to assigned engineers
  • Perform construction document reviews as needed
  • Coordinate structural engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects during planning, design, and construction phases
  • Prepare and review calculations, drawings, and specifications for seismic and wind analyses, foundation design, structural framing analyses and design, and bracing analyses and design
  • Experience in renovating/modifying existing facilities is essential
  • Proficiency in computer-aided drafting applications is mandatory

Work Location: Greenville, SC

Required Qualifications:

For all skill levels, being a U.S. Citizen is a must. Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local codes and standards relevant to structural engineering design is required.

Structural Engineer: Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering with a minimum of 5 years' experience (preferably in nuclear) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related engineering phases.

Senior Structural Engineer: Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering with a minimum of 10 years' experience (preferably in nuclear) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, related engineering phases, and field experience in inspecting construction projects. Professional Engineer License preferred but not mandatory.

Principal Structural Engineer: Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering with a minimum of 15 years' experience (preferably in nuclear) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related engineering phases. Professional Engineer License preferred but not mandatory.
