Supervisor Rehabilitative Services

Department: MCR Occupational Therapy

FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $ $62.15 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary:
Supervises daily staff activities for Rehabilitative Services.

Responsibilities:
  • Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels. Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
  • Completes performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. Assesses quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs.
  • Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures and protocols.
  • Performs responsibilities of underlying job. Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels. Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.
  • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Therapy.
  • Current State Physical Therapy license, or Colorado Occupational Therapy registration, or Speech Therapist certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
  • 2 years of relevant experience.
Preferred:
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Healthcare Administration or Business.
