About the role and our team
The Contract Associate Recruiter (temporary 90-day contract leading to a permanent role) in the Operations Talent department plays a crucial role in delivering professional recruitment services to fulfill staffing requirements. Establishing strong collaborative relationships with your colleagues is essential, and your contributions will yield tangible results daily in a well-supported and rapidly expanding organization. As a Contract Associate Recruiter for one or more Operations teams, your primary focus will be on recruiting entry-level candidates and handling high-volume recruitment across various locations nationwide.
Location
This position is based at our headquarters in Tempe, AZ. We provide a hybrid work arrangement with three office days and two remote work days (Wednesday and Friday). Candidates must be able to commute to our Tempe office near Arizona State University.
Your Responsibilities as a Contract Associate Recruiter
- Source potential candidates using diverse channels like social media, Indeed, and the Carvana website.
- Conduct thorough phone interviews.
- Present resumes and screening insights to hiring managers.
- Manage candidate expectations during the background check process, ensuring a smooth recruitment journey.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand operational requirements and deliver accordingly.
- Aim for a high conversion rate from interviews to job offers.
- Contribute to the overall growth and success of the company.
- Perform any other assigned tasks.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in recruitment.
- Proficiency with recruitment tools and innovative candidate sourcing techniques, such as Greenhouse ATS.
- Experience adapting sourcing strategies to align with team needs and working closely with hiring managers.
- Ability to work swiftly without compromising accuracy in a dynamic environment.
- Effective multitasking and prioritization skills.
