Position Overview:

Nibav Lifts Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our warehouse team. The Material Handler will play a crucial role in the efficient movement and storage of materials within the warehouse, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control tasks, including receiving, storing, and organizing materials.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pick and prepare materials for production and shipment according to order specifications.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on incoming and outgoing materials to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete and maintain records of materials, inventory, and shipments.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse staff to meet operational goals and deadlines.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and record-keeping.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
  • Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
