  • Client is in need of a skilled developer to create innovative Power Platform applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing and integrating various Power Platform components such as Power Apps, Canvas App, Power Pages, Power Automate, Power BI, Report Builder, SQL Server Database, Azure Active Directory, and Microsoft Teams. This role involves serving as a subject matter expert on the Power Platform and transferring knowledge to the client's development team. The main project involves building a custom application to replace the current Automated Research Tracking System (ARTS).
  • Potential for additional Power Platform projects beyond the ARTS system may be explored in the future based on the client's needs.
  • The hired developer will be responsible for architectural design, creating PowerApps, integrating them with Power Automate, SQL Server Database, Azure Active Directory, and Microsoft Teams, as well as sharing expertise with the client's team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up development environment linked to SQL Server environment following client's IT standards.
  • Analyze and implement business requirements using approved environments.
  • Design a Canvas App for internal project tracking.
  • Develop Power Pages for external websites/applications.
  • Implement Power Automate for various processes within the Project Tracking Console.
  • Create a front-end Customer Relationship Management Portal linked to client's Active Directory and databases.
  • Integrate Canvas App, Power Pages, and Power Automate with SQL Server and Azure AD.
  • Collaborate with developers to enhance applications and establish best practices.
  • Provide expertise transfer to the team.

Desired Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Microsoft PowerApps development.
  • Experience in Microsoft InfoPath can substitute for one year.
  • At least 3 years' experience in Microsoft Power Automate development.
  • Experience with Microsoft Flow can substitute for one year.
  • 1 year experience in Microsoft Power Pages development.
  • Experience with Microsoft Premium Connectors for external databases.
  • Engagement in at least two projects lasting over 6 months as a PowerApps Developer.
  • Proficiency in designing and building complex model-driven and canvas apps with advanced techniques.
  • Previous work with Power Apps component framework for creating UI components and extending model-driven apps.
  • Skills in integrating Power Platform with other Microsoft products and external systems.
  • Ability to design sophisticated Power Pages websites with custom features.
  • Experience mentoring developers on Power Platform tools or new programming languages.
  • 2 years' experience in JAVA, .NET, or C# development.
