Community Title Network, a dynamic and growing Mid-Atlantic regional title agency, is looking to hire a Head of Marketing who will be in charge of leading and executing our company's dynamic marketing efforts and those of each of our 20+branches operating in MD, DC, VA, DE, and OH.

As a successful hire, you will be responsible for evaluating, developing, leading, and executing marketing strategies; planning and coordinating marketing efforts; communicating the marketing plans to those involved; and building awareness and positioning for our company's brand.

Finally, you will organize and participate in certain company conferences, trade shows, and major events created for customers.


We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic leader who has experience developing and managing a team, working in a team environment, providing marketing direction, and executing marketing strategies and plans.

Effective time management skills, proactive executive thinking, the ability to execute, and the ability to multitask are a must. Experience with content creation and production tools is a plus.

To be considered for this position, you must have a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or communications. You must also have proven experience running a marketing team and campaigns. High competency in project and stakeholder management is a huge advantage.

You will report to the CEO of the company.

Head of Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Creating and implementing a clear marketing vision and strategy that leverages the company's developed brand and unique industry position as a leader in providing the ultimate customer settlement experience.
  • Developing, planning, directing, coordinating, and executing company marketing initiatives along with individual branch office marketing efforts
  • Communicating the marketing planning to the CEO and branch managers
  • Developing company promotions and working with individual branch managers to support any marketing promotions they wish to implement for their specific market(s)
  • Collaborating and communicating across the company, finding inclusive ways to work and complement efforts of company marketing and local branch marketing, advertising tech, and analytics to develop integrated workflow and informed outputs
  • Collaborating with senior executives to develop and execute growth plans for the organization
  • Researching demand for our settlement services
  • Researching our local and regional markets, including research on competition.
  • Staying current on trends and innovations in marketing; maintaining knowledge of emerging products and services in the title, real estate, and lending industries.
  • Implementing SEO and paid social media strategies to increase website visibility and help grow the website as a sales funnel;
  • Tracking and measuring the effectiveness of all marketing initiatives, with a focus on digital marketing analytics
  • Organizing company conferences, trade shows, and major events
  • Overseeing social media marketing strategy, content marketing, and website.
  • Coordinating strategies with the sales team and its use of the company CRM
  • HubSpot.

Head of Marketing Requirements, Skills, Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field, further education a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of market developments
  • Thorough understanding of marketing strategies and practices
  • Proven marketing campaign experience
  • High competence in project and stakeholder management, with the ability to multitask and prioritize against deadlines
  • Experience in marketing and running a marketing team
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask
  • Professional and proactive work ethic
  • Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media marketing and content marketing
  • Experience producing videos; video editing experience a plus
  • Experience with CRM is a plus. Experience with HubSpot is a big plus.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required; Master's degree preferred
  • At least five years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in project and team management required

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time
  • Occasional travel for company events and to our branch offices throughout the midAtlantic to work with managers and their teams for events and promotions
