Salary Insights:

We are offering an estimated pay band of $55 to $62 per hour for the role of Journeyman Electrician, inclusive of wages and fringe benefits. The precise wage scale will be determined based on your previous work experience.

Role Highlights:

  • Participate in diverse tasks surrounding Solar Panel Installation at a large-scale solar farm:
  • Complete combiner box terminations
  • Handle Panel/LV work proficiently
  • Install metering equipment accurately
  • Execute layout, bending, threading, and installation of conduit
  • Manage the installation of switchgear, switchboards, and electrical devices
  • Undertake trenching and PVC raceway installation
  • Handle pulling and termination of direct bury wire efficiently
  • Ensure proper connection and support of DC wire
  • Accomplish electrical enclosures installation tasks
  • Assist in material unloading and staging
  • Conduct electrical testing and commissioning diligently
  • Operate hand and power tools safely following appropriate training sessions (Drills, Crimpers, Cutters, etc.)
  • Tasks involve outdoor work with exposure to various weather conditions

Prerequisites:

  • Minimum educational requirement of high school diploma or equivalent
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License
  • Hold a Journeyman's electrical license in Colorado
  • Prior experience with solar and underground electrical work is highly advantageous
