Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Staff Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
  • Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyze financial data and trends to identify variances and discrepancies.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, providing documentation and support as needed.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.
  • Assist with payroll processing and related tasks, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting-related issues and inquiries.
  • Stay current with accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
