COMPANY BACKGROUND
The Houston Dynamo Football Club (HDFC) is committed to promoting soccer participation and growth in Houston, TX and beyond.

The Club consists of men's and women's professional teams - the Houston Dynamo (MLS) and Houston Dash (NWSL), a development academy, Houston Dynamo Dash Charities, as well as Shell Energy Stadium and Houston Sports Park.

The Club has a successful history, including MLS Cup titles (2006, 2007) and in-season tournament championships for both the Dynamo and Dash. The focus is on achieving future championships, uniting Houston through soccer, community outreach, and creating an inclusive sporting experience.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Full-Time Stadium Operations Assistant will work under the guidance of the Stadium Operations Manager and Coordinator.

This role involves event setups, handling troubleshooting calls during events, and assisting in the daily operations of the Stadium.

Responsibilities include managing operations supplies and equipment, assisting in supervising staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining a safe environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Participates in all aspects of the event execution process
  • Manually sets up and tears down event equipment
  • Converts the Stage Right System for various events
  • Works alongside and oversees part-time and contracted laborers
  • Operates power tools and equipment safely
  • Assists in manual tasks for other departments
  • Manages building tools and equipment inventory
  • Performs maintenance tasks on Operations Equipment
  • Reports safety concerns
  • Completes tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Experience with manual labor duties
  • Flexible work hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of First Aid procedures
  • Equipment certification if needed
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES
  • Basic knowledge of building operating systems
  • Experience with hand and power tools
  • Problem-solving skills
