About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Operations Coordinator to join our team at Astrana Health. As an essential part of our Operations Department, this role will involve collaborating closely with the DME Operations Manager/Sr. Project Manager to facilitate our expansion in the healthcare sector. Responsibilities include managing incoming calls, liaising with members, processing orders, ensuring compliance, handling in-person appointments, overseeing inventory, and organizing documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify orders by phone and arrange appointments or gather shipping details.
  • Master DME software operations and handle drop ship orders.
  • Prepare and transport medium to large DME supplies to various locations, involving lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Conduct Orthosis fittings and diabetic shoes & inserts fittings.
  • Scan and upload delivery tickets and DME documents to records.
  • Operate telephone, computer, and office equipment along with managing DME supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with dispensed supplies and maintain a tidy workspace.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or higher education.
  • Minimum 1 year of operations experience.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook.
  • Type a minimum of 60 words per minute.
  • Fluency in Cantonese.
Desired Skills:
  • Prior DME experience.
  • Proficiency in Vietnamese (in addition to Cantonese).
  • Knowledge of Incontinence, Wound Care, Ostomy, and Urology supplies.
  • Familiarity with Brightree Software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills in a fast-paced setting.
  • Effective communication skills and understanding of health plan compliance.
