Under the guidance of the Supervisor of Medical Staff Services, the Credentialing Coordinator will carry out various support tasks to aid with the numerous credentialing and enrollment activities in the department. If you live in Seattle, WA, you will have the flexibility to telecommute as you take on some challenging tasks.


Primary Responsibilities:
  • Supporting credentialing and enrollment work
  • Performing primary source verifications for credentialing representatives
  • Inputting data into credentialing systems
  • Overseeing and completing Epic work queues
  • Conducting enrollment and credentialing activities
  • Sending clinician reminders
  • Updating quality portal websites

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 2+ years of experience in the healthcare industry
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Currently residing within 50 miles of Seattle, WA

Soft Skills:
  • Knowledge of computers and copiers/scanners
  • Capability to read, interpret, and apply rules, processes, and procedures
  • Ability to evaluate situations, employ good judgment, and request assistance when necessary
  • Strong project management and organizational skills following a systematic method of carrying out a task
  • Capability to handle sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to communicate and present information in a concise, organized, and positive manner
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
  • Capable of grasping and executing detailed instructions
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform well under pressure
  • Providing observations and recommendations for enhancement
  • Familiarity with computer software applications
  • Proficient in establishing and maintaining relationships

Washington Residents Only:

The hourly range for Washington residents is $16.00 to $28.27 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
