Job DescriptionJob Description

LHH is partnering with a successful healthcare company in Chicago. We are looking for a detail-oriented Compensation Analyst for a contract, possible contract-to-hire position. You will help design, develop, and manage compensation programs to ensure fairness, competitiveness, and compliance. This hybrid role will require 1 day a week in the office.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Support: Lead and support compensation projects, recommending and implementing changes.
  • Job Evaluation: Conduct job evaluations and equity analyses, providing data-based recommendations.
  • Consultation: Advise HR partners and departments on compensation strategies.
  • Market Studies: Conduct market studies and propose solutions for compensation issues.
  • Salary Surveys: Complete salary surveys and coordinate with consultants.
  • Job Descriptions: Update job descriptions with comprehensive data.
  • HRIS Management: Ensure compensation data is accurate in HR systems.
  • Performance Evaluation: Assist with performance evaluation and merit increase processes.
  • Salary Structures: Update salary structures based on benchmark data.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with HR standards through training and audits.
  • Training: Provide advice on pay decisions and conduct manager training.
  • Policy Review: Review and improve compensation policies.
  • Project Management: Lead and complete departmental projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, HR Management, or related field.
  • Five years of experience in Compensation or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Agile and responsive in client interactions.

Employment Type: 3 month contract with possibility to become permanent.

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm, Hybrid, with Tuesdays required onsite.

Pay Details: $52.00 to $59.00 per hour
