Key job responsibilities

Other requirements include proficiency with MS Office, MS Project and MS SharePoint. Experience with Tableau, Kanban, SQL and systems integration a plus.

Preferred qualifications

  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations including Life Safety, IBC, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA
  • Understanding of critical Data Center equipment
  • Basic understanding of both mechanical and electrical equipment/design related to data centers (Including but not limited to: uninterruptable power sources, diesel generators, electrical switchgear, power distribution units, variable frequency drives, automatic/static transfer switches, chillers [aircooled and watercooled], pumps, cooling towers, heat exchangers, CRAHs, air economizers, etc...)
  • Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and equipment specifications (CSI Format)
  • Organized and have the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines and budget
  • Possess leadership and problemsolving skills
  • Data center planning experience
  • Proven ability to effectively manage project budgets is essential
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously, willingness to roll up your sleeves.
  • Ability to think and react in a high energy, fast paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications across technical and nontechnical stakeholders and experience presenting to senior executives.
  • Dual education background business and tech/quantitative discipline.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data to back up assumptions, evaluate outcomes and challenge conventional wisdom.
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon's leadership principles requirements for this role
