Event Marketing Manager III

Our client is looking for an Event Marketing manager with experience fully owning event programs from start to finish as well as budget management, contracting, and vendor communications.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Project administration, including working with client Legal and finance, to onboard vendors & process contracts/POs/invoices
  • Align event activities with business priorities across stakeholder groups, including interfacing directly with sales leadership and sales teams.
  • Manage vendor relationships and build processes for repeatable and scalable event activities
  • Execute events with operational and logistical excellence
  • Manage the agenda, and overall event experience with a customer obsessed mindset
  • Manage event budgets
  • Work effectively across organizational boundaries to define, manage, and prioritize work
  • Strong ability to execute events while seeking the right programmatic approach to scale
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of events marketing experience in a technology environment; delivering on live and virtual event programs (500+ attendees) that align to the customer journey and field sales goals
  • 5+ years facilitating cross-functional interactions to create, plan, and execute events
  • 5+ years managing event budgets including POs and invoicing
  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing, technology or a relevant field of study

Preferred Skillsets:

  • Proven ability to successfully manage and execute multiple projects with different priorities and stakeholders
  • Excellent project management skills and experience managing deliverables in a multi-stakeholder environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive approach to handling any challenges that might arise and ability to quickly troubleshoot any problems that should arise on the event day
  • Collaborative attitude and ability to stay calm under pressure

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $44.65 to $49.61 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
