POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine is currently seeking a Sr. Program Coordinator to join our team of professionals.

Duties include:
Oversees the organization of the program-specific committee meetings and faculty gatherings. Maintains comprehensive meeting minutes with annotations referencing ACGME program-specific requirements.

Responsible for onboarding/offboarding of residents, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) standards.

Manages the tracking, processes, and approvals of the program-specific medical residents leave time to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Assists with resident scheduling to optimize program efficiency.

Assists in maintaining and updating program-specific Program Letters of Agreement (PLAs) and coordinates annual submissions to the ACGME for respective site(s).

Coordinates resident recruitment efforts and streamline selection processes. Ensures smooth orientation for new residents/fellows, facilitating their transition into the program.
Coordinates the program-specific administrative support for travel arrangements, reimbursement, expense tracking, and other logistical needs.

Acts as a liaison between residents and the Office of GME, addressing concerns, facilitating communication, and supporting resident well-being and program success.

Provides support for developing data gathering and reporting processes as needed for program evaluation and improvement.
Works with and/or resides with minors and/or vulnerable persons within their role.
Performs other related duties as required or directed.

The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of office or related experience.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in a health care environment.
