QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for an Electronic Technician at a company in Waukegan, IL. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Apply now
Electronic Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform electronic testing upon lower level subassemblies and final product based on customer requirements
- Troubleshoot and repair final electronic product
- Monitor and record data required on process sheets
- Perform final configuration of electronic product
- Suggest methods for resolving product failures
- Clean assembled units and parts
- Complete product verification checklist and release product to the customer
- Ensure that completed electronic assemblies meet customerprovided functionality and performance criteria
Requirements for Electronic Technician:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with either two years of college work and one year industrial experience OR 5 years of industrial experience
- Knowledge and understanding of the pertinent standards and procedures
- 70% or better on electronics test
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Understanding of electronic circuit analysis
- Understanding of basic concepts of digital electronics
- Able to differentiate colors
