Electronic Technician Responsibilities:

  • Perform electronic testing upon lower level subassemblies and final product based on customer requirements
  • Troubleshoot and repair final electronic product
  • Monitor and record data required on process sheets
  • Perform final configuration of electronic product
  • Suggest methods for resolving product failures
  • Clean assembled units and parts
  • Complete product verification checklist and release product to the customer
  • Ensure that completed electronic assemblies meet customerprovided functionality and performance criteria

Requirements for Electronic Technician:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with either two years of college work and one year industrial experience OR 5 years of industrial experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of the pertinent standards and procedures
  • 70% or better on electronics test
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Understanding of electronic circuit analysis
  • Understanding of basic concepts of digital electronics
  • Able to differentiate colors
