Job Type Full-timeDescriptionAs a Plumbing Purchasing Assistant, you will process a moderate volume of data entry for the plumbing purchasing department.

The ideal candidate will have a background in commercial plumbing supplies and be responsible for entering data accurately and efficiently into our database while supporting the wholesale purchasing team with clerical functions of the department.

ResponsibilitiesAccurately enter data into the databasesReview and verify data for accuracy and completenessAssist with creating plumbing purchase ordersCommunicate with vendors and internal departments regarding updates on materialsAssist with inventory management as neededMaintain purchasing records and filesPerform other clerical duties as assigned to support the operations of the department Requirements High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of one-year recent clerical experience within a plumbing, wholesale or construction environmentProficient proof reading and auditing skills Strong organizational and time-management skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office with the ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM alphanumerically Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc.
