We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to be a part of a state PMO and lead a team to define requirements for an upcoming procurement.
This PM will also assist the State with procurement tasks such as planning, Request for Proposal (RFP) development, developing requirements.
This is a remote position, though occasional travel to the client site in Sacramento will be required. The ideal candidate will live in Sacramento, CA. OTS offers basic benefits and a competitive compensation package.Required Qualifications
At least seven years of demonstrated project management experience within the last ten years analyzing and documenting complex systems, processes, and workflows on a state of California or federal IT project.
At least 5yrs of experience leading a team that produced deliverables on-time and according to a predetermined schedule.Must have a current, active PMP certification
Must have a technical degree, or equivalent experience doing technical work.
Must have 3yrs of experience on state of CA IT projects.
Desirable
Experience with the state of California PAL process for procurement
