In this position, the Career Painter:
  • Prepares, coats, and finishes metal and other surfaces.
  • Operates conventional and airless spray equipment for applying industrial paint finishes.
  • Mixes and applies various paint systems according to specific formulas.
  • Adjusts spray gun nozzles for optimal dispersion and monitors paint flow and viscosity.
  • Performs necessary cleaning and maintenance tasks on painting equipment.
  • Regulates temperature and air circulation in drying ovens.
  • Proficient in both spray and hand-held application of exterior coatings.
  • May assist in applying interior primer coats.
  • Maintains all required paperwork.
  • Ensures adherence to safety rules and practices.
  • Participates in safety committees or initiatives as needed.
  • Completes any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
  • Include certifications, training, or relevant experience details in your application.
  • List at least your last two employers in the application if applicable.
