Additionally, they handle guest requests, participate in preventative maintenance programs, and carry out trade jobs such as carpentry, painting, and plumbing in a safe and efficient manner. There might be occasional requirements to drive a shuttle van if needed for the property.



Requirements:
  • Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Licensure in a trade preferred (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry).
  • Valid driver's license for the applicable state.
  • Basic knowledge and experience in carpentry, plumbing, mechanical repair, painting, and HVAC systems.
  • Demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail, flexibility, and adherence to safety regulations.


Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
  • Perform a variety of tasks including light bulb changes, preventative maintenance for guest rooms, plumbing repairs, HVAC maintenance, and responding to alarms promptly.
  • Address any emergency situations and report findings to the Front Desk.
  • Execute other assigned tasks by supervisors or managers.
