What You Will Do
As an Estimating Analyst, there will be no typical day and you will start your time here at GSI drinking from a fire hose as you soak up the information needed to be successful.
Without your deep analytical skill set, ability to lead the prequalification process for general contractors, we are not going to be successful.

Responsibilities:
What You Will Do
Lead prequalification process for General Contractors.
Review bid package requirements.
Plan and schedule bid requirements.
Maintain procurement search site subscriptions.
Monitor procurement platforms for potential bid opportunities.
Acquire electronic and hard copy bid documents.
Review labor compliance requirements to ensure efforts and goals are met during estimating process.
Assist in project planning and estimate reviews, as required.
Assist estimating acquire material and equipment quotes from vendors and subs, as required.
Work with surety to provide project specific information in exchange of bid and performance bonds.
Responsible for the timely completion for of all client-required documents.
Ensure bid compliance for both public and private clients.
Submits bids proposals and statements of qualification both electronically and via FedEx.
Compose, design and edit statements of qualification demonstrating overall company capabilities.
Assist compliance, safety and contracts with estimating related tasks.
Draft and submit Requests for Information for projects specific clarification.
Qualifications:
What You Need to Bring
Bachelor's degree preferred, not required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
Ability to conduct work associated tasks outside work day and week.
Light travel occasionally required.
Effective communication skills – both written and verbal
Ability to identify and meet clients' needs, expectations and requirements
Ability to interact with all levels of the organization and external customers
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational and time management skills; Able to independently prioritize and effectively multitask assignments
Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills; Able to follow up and follow through on all requests and assignments
