Smyrna, TN

Hours:
PRN/As Needed (8 hrs/wk)

The Diagnostic Technologist at Solis Mammography operates diagnostic equipment to capture images accurately and communicate effectively with patients and radiologists. The role focuses on maintaining equipment, ensuring patient comfort, and providing quality care throughout each procedure.


RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis Way
  • Produces high-quality ultrasound images and obtain appropriate measurements for each exam
  • Communicates effectively with patients and medical staff
  • Ensures patient well-being and comfort during procedures
  • Assists radiologists during exams and procedures
  • Maintains ultrasound equipment and follows safety protocols
  • Other duties as assigned

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education:

Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program


  • Certificates:
Active ARDMS certification and up-to-date CME requirements.

  • Language Skills:

Ability to effectively communicate with patients and medical professionals

Ability to comprehend medical terminology.

  • Reasoning Ability:
Ability to follow detailed instructions and address problems effectively.

  • Computer Skills:
Proficiency in database and RIS/PACS software.

  • Physical Demands:
Ability to stand for extended periods.
