Responsibilities:Perform diagnostic procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics following accepted protocols.
  • Set up and adjust imaging equipment and maneuver transducers for exams
  • Implement safety standards and quality control procedures
  • Perform routine and complex studies, assist in imaging procedures
  • Recognize structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations
  • Position patients accurately, ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Submit high-quality images promptly to PACS
  • Maintain department cleanliness and safety

Requirements:
  • Licensure / Certification / Registration required:
  • BLS Provider obtained within 30 days of hire or job transfer
  • Credentials in Cardiographic Tech, Radiologic Technologist or Sonography, or Medical Sonographer within 180 days of hire
  • Education: High School diploma and experience OR Associate's degree OR applicable job-specific experience
