Job Description
Midscale Limited Service Branded Hotel with 85 guest rooms.
As the General Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of the operation, including financial performance, revenue management, ensuring optimal guest satisfaction scores, and developing and retaining a team that is driven in exceeding Guest and Brand and expectations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Manage day-to-day operations and assignments of the hotel as you plan and organize work, communicate goals, and schedule/assign work.
You must have Strong Sales Leadership with proven ability to get results by building a sales effort that consistently positions the hotel to exceed revenue objectives.
Ensure customer service scores and online reviews remain at the highest level.Ensure Hotel follows all Brand Standards and quality standards must be met in all areas of the hotel as it relates to the appearance, levels of maintenance and cleanliness.
Establish and maintain preventative maintenance programs to protect the physical assets of the hotel and achieve productivity and quality goals.
Hire, train and develop team members. Follow-up with existing staff to ensure they are providing superior guest service and meeting or exceeding quality standards. Initiate reviews, disciplinary, or other staff-related actions in accordance with company rules and policies.Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and hotel assets.
Requirements include you to maintain established safety compliance goals and comply with all standards and inspection requirements.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Must have proven leadership ability exhibited through a minimum of Two years of prior management experience with a Branded hotel.
Minimum two years related Hotel experience and training as a GM or AGM.Must have excellent communication, time management and leadership skills.
Must have above average aptitude with computer automation and experience utilizing Opera PMS, MS Word and MS Excel.
