Job Description Summary


Responsible for ensuring relevant disclosures, changes in circumstances, notices and other relevant documents are prepared accurately and are sent out within the required time frames.

Monitors mortgage pipelines to confirm all necessary documents are prepared and provided.

Maintains compliance with all relevant guidelines for the position including, RESPA and TRID guidelines, and timing requirements to ensure accurate and timely delivery of all disclosure documents pursuant to state and federal mortgage regulations.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Prepares and distributes disclosures for new mortgage loans submitted to the processing department.

Works directly with both internal and external customers to provide excellent customer service and meet all processing, closing and disclosure steps and process requirements.

Verifies and provides electronic disclosures per the eSign Act or by regular USPS mail.
Ensures that Mortgage Insurance (MI), Private Mortgage Insurance (PMI), or funding fees are present as applicable.
Provides any subsequent redisclosures generates and provides the supporting Change in Circumstance (CIC) documentation.
Generates and provides Reg B, Counter-Offer, and SOCD letters as applicable.
Monitors appropriate queues for timely response.

Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

To perform this job satisfactorily, an employee must be able to carry out each essential duty competently. The requirements listed below are representative of the education, experience, skills and abilities required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Education Requirements

Required - High School or GED

Required - Firm understanding of regulations (TRID, Reg B, and TILA/RESPA)

Experience Requirement

Required - 1 Year - Experience related to Mortgage Disclosures and/or Mortgage Loan Processing

Preferred - Encompass experience

SKILLS/ABILITIES

Effectively apply internal and external customer service practices and processes to meet quality service standards and achieve member satisfaction.

Learn and apply information, on a wide range of mortgage related products, services and regulatory compliance requirements, in order to assess member situations and develop solutions.

Research and resolve problems utilizing advanced knowledge and experience.
Communicate in a professional manner and deliver information clearly and effectively. Actively listen to questions, opinions and ideas of others. Use tact and diplomacy in sensitive and confidential situations.
Use correct English including spelling, grammar and punctuation.
Operate computers and use business software and other standard office equipment.
Understand and follow written and oral instructions.
Set priorities and manage ones own time effectively.
