Currently seeking a PT or PTA to join our team in supporting clients in Waterbury and nearby areas such as Bethany, Oxford, Seymour, Beacon Falls, and Woodbridge.

Our dedicated PT/PTA's conduct assessments, contribute to IFSP development, track outcomes, and provide essential EI services to families for the benefit of the child.

PTA's work under the guidance of licensed Physical Therapists and may work independently.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all Federal and State regulations, including those specified in the Connecticut Birth to Three Program Regulations
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments
  • Build connections with children, families, and team members to foster a positive learning atmosphere
  • Collaborate with families to devise strategies using evidence-based practices
  • Implement IFSP for families and suggest service frequency based on child development
  • Provide families with valuable information and support to aid their child's development
  • Utilize coaching and natural environment teaching methods
  • Engage in Birth to Three sponsored training and meetings
  • Complete Birth to Three Service Coordinator Modules as required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate within a team
  • Familiarity with Connecticut's Birth to Three program and best service delivery practices
  • Skilled in adapting to various learning styles
  • Dedication to Natural Learning Environment Practices

Qualifications:
  • Valid Physical Therapy license/Assistant License in CT
  • Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
  • Active Connecticut driver's license
  • Minimum one year of experience in early intervention with children
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus
