As our Director of Quality, you will be responsible for the Quality Management System and maintaining our AS / ISO certifications.

Using innovation, equipment, engineering personnel, and KPI's to ensure we meet our customer requirements.

This position is key in supporting our customers and mission success.

Qualifications & Requirements:
BS Degree required with a Minimum of 8 years of Quality related experience

Oversee and support the Quality team to ensure 100% quality effectiveness for our customers and their high cost-of-failure applications

Compile and use data, databases, ERP systems, spreadsheets, etc. to communicate and drive enterprise-wide initiatives

Ability to direct quality resources to develop and implement test and inspection programs to meet customer, industry, and regulatory standards across the manufacturing sites

Commitment to Winchester's values of accountability, collaboration, and empowerment

Support Winchesters long-term organic Growth goals by establishing

a robust Quality strategy that impacts Revenue & EBITDA, OTD, and Quality KPIs

Analytical thinker with demonstrated technical ability to perform root cause analysis, prepare and implement action plans, lead improvement initiatives, and interface with customer's technical resources

What will you be Accountable for?

QMS & Supplier Quality Management, ISO9001, AS9100, Safety / Training & other various certifications

Long Term Organic Growth - establish a strategy that impacts Revenue & EBITDA by being focused on contract review,

Reduction / Elimination of RMA's & CARs, Improved inspections, Yield, & reduced Inventory adjustments

Customer satisfaction and communication - NPI projects, FAI's, Source inspections, RMA's, CAR's, and general customer service

How will you Collaborate?


You will collaborate across Hermetics in a way that leads by example, holds people accountable and utilizes data to make informed decisions.


They should actively participate on behalf of the Quality team both internally and externally on NPI projects, engineering requirements, contract review, RMA's, CARs, production support, and general customer service.

The DQ should have a positive, engaged, and infectious attitude that's easy to work with and aligns with our culture.

Set a QMS strategy that aligns with Hermetics's short & long-term growth goals and compliments both sites, all departments, to impactfully change how sites operate and prioritize built-in quality as a mindset.

Establish KPIs, report on them, and make them visible to the team and other departments

Strengthen/build your department resources with the short & long-term growth strategy in mind & align personnel to achieve the best results (cross-train individuals where needed)

(utilize the DOA for hiring)

Collaborate frequently with other departments to ensure accurate quotes, contract review completion, priorities for OTD are met, and customer communication is supported

Develop strategic initiatives to drive quality performance improvement in escapes, cost of poor quality, impact supplier improvement & drive built-in quality

Identify areas to invest in support of future growth & establish incentives to reinforce the right behaviors

Continually seek ways to simplify your department and rationalize costs

Communicate with your team at a cadence that makes expectations and performance clear
