SUMMARY:


As a Finance Manager reporting to the Director of Finance you will be providing the financial leadership to our business decision making with the aim of maximizing long-term value, cash flows and shareholder return for the Americas Converting Foodservice Division for the Carton region.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-10 years' experience in an Accounting / Finance role with 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment and will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for their region to ensure we meet our business objectives.

In addition, this position will offer the opportunity to work with cross functional teams to analyze data, provide management with a fair assessment of key projects including how we can optimize it in a way that helps to generate superior business results for the company; as well as support continuous improvement activities to achieve world class financial reporting standards.


JOB FUNCTIONS:
Job functions include, but are not limited to the following.

Oversight of the Regions financial personnel and processes. Analytical support for all activities and processes of Plant Leadership teams in your Region. Key processes include monthly close, monthly financial forecasts, annual operating plans and compliance matters.

Responsibilities also include:

analysis and evaluation of the Region's monthly operating results, annual budgets, monthly production and financial forecasts, and weekly results reporting.

Provide analytical support for cross functional projects including but not limited to customer profitability analysis and pricing etc.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES are, but not limited to the following:

  • Support and development of Plant Controllers for the Foodservice Carton plants
  • Partner with and support the Regional Operations Director
  • Review and assist in the preparation of monthly Plant reporting packages
  • Assist Controllers in Development and presenting supporting explanations for month end results requiring deep variance analysis
  • Coordinate and provide analysis to the monthly forecasting process
  • Ad hoc financial analysis of financial and operating metrics to support reporting requirements
  • Maintain/Develop complex financial models as needed
  • Assure Plants are in compliance with the Company's policies and controls
  • Analysis of plant results
  • Ad hoc analysis
  • Standards and Production Variance reviews
  • Support the development and analysis of Plant annual operating plan
  • Support Plants and Plant Controllers as needed on special projects
  • Support Corporate Level analysis for key items as needed

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Business-related field required.
  • MBA with concentration in Finance (preferred)
  • Paperboard Packaging Industry experience (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SAP R3 and OLAP tools
  • Strong financial modeling skills
  • Travel 25% to 50%

Salary Min:
$107,200.00

Salary Mid:
$142,900.00

Salary Max:
$178,600.00
