We are in search of a skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Emergency Department at McKee Medical Center in picturesque Northern Colorado. If you have a strong dedication to patient care, enjoy a fast-paced environment that values teamwork and collaboration, this is the perfect fit for you.

This is a full-time position during the night shift (6PM-6:30AM) with differentials available for both nights and weekends. You will also have the flexibility to self-schedule two months ahead. For further details about this role, please contact Sydney Archuleta.

Banner McKee Medical Center, located in Loveland, Colorado, is a 132-bed acute-care facility situated in a vibrant arts community just 40 minutes away from the Rocky Mountain National Park. POSITION SUMMARY
This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for patients in adherence with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards. Accountable for maintaining the quality of nursing services provided by oneself and others under their supervision. Requires specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to assess data and provide care suitable to the assigned patients' physical and developmental stage.

CORE FUNCTIONS

  • Assess various patient needs including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural factors
  • Formulate individualized care plans with input from patients, families, and healthcare team
  • Implement care plans through direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of healthcare team activities
  • Evaluate patient and family response to care, revise care plans as necessary
  • Document patient care information accurately and timely in accordance with policies
  • Base care on best available evidence, participate in research, and contribute to improving patient outcomes
  • Maintain communication with staff, patients, families, and external contacts regarding patient care
  • Possibly supervise department staff and workflow

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must hold a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, with BLS certification mandatory. Additional certifications or ongoing education may be necessary based on the practice area. Clinical experience in the relevant area is preferred. Must maintain clinical competencies appropriate to the working area, as validated annually. For Banner Registry and Travel acute care positions, at least one year of acute care hospital experience within the last 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specific specialty is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's degree and professional certification are preferred. Additional related education and/or experience is advantageous.
