Position Overview:
The Rooms Operation Manager plays a vital role in maintaining top-notch cleanliness, guest service, and room upkeep. This role involves overseeing the front office, housekeeping, and guest services teams to ensure a seamless and outstanding guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising front office operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries.
- Providing quick and courteous service to all guests.
- Handling and resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Managing the housekeeping team to uphold cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and public areas.
- Performing regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Managing inventory of cleaning supplies and linens.
- Recruiting, training, and supervising front office, housekeeping, and guest services staff.
- Coordinating with maintenance and engineering teams to address repair and maintenance issues.
- Analyzing and reporting on rooms division performance metrics, such as occupancy rates and guest satisfaction scores.
- Collaborating with other department heads to ensure smooth hotel operations.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in hotel management, focusing on front office or housekeeping.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
