Expectations:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, voice, and fluency abilities.
  • Create and implement customized treatment plans based on assessments and individual student requirements.
  • Provide direct speech therapy services, focusing on articulation, language comprehension, social communication, and pragmatics goals.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school professionals to ensure coordinated care and effective intervention strategies.
  • Monitor student progress, maintain detailed therapy session records, and communicate efficiently with the school team and caregivers.
  • Stay informed about the latest best practices and evidence-based interventions in the speech-language pathology field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Possess current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Have a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Demonstrate experience working with school-aged children (preferably).
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
