Maitre D:

Reporting to the General Manager, the Maitre D will be responsible for:

  • Check-in guests at the host stand in Resy
  • Seat guests at their table
  • Book reservations from >/span>
  • Respond to ALL emails from Gmail that include but are not limited to
    • Looping in appropriate management for guest issues
    • Looping in appropriate people to large parties or events
    • Re-plotting the book as needed based on inquiries for the day
    • Re-plotting the book while taking into consideration the weather and Patio & garden challenges
    • Scanning the Reso summaries for Notes
  • Inputting server sections into Resy
  • Opening and Closing Duties:
    • Print Flow and Add Notes
    • Input Sections
    • Review book
    • Check voicemails
    • Confirm reservations
    • Inspect menus/complete folds
  • Decide on walk-in allowances
  • Ensuring all chits are accurate, updated, and sent to staff, management, and kitchen
  • Re-filling host binders with appropriate signage
  • Menu organization, folds, and count
  • Distributing pick up orders at the host stand
