Job Description

A-Line Staffing is currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join their team in Uniondale, NY 11553. This position offers the opportunity to work for a Fortune 500 company with room for professional growth. It is a full-time role, guaranteeing 40+ hours per week.

Pharmacy Technician Compensation

  • The hourly pay rate for this role is $18.00
  • Full-time employees are eligible for benefits after 90 days of employment
  • A 401(k) plan with a company match is available for employees with at least 1 year of service

Pharmacy Technician Highlights

  • This position requires availability from 11:15 am to 7 pm, Tuesday to Saturday
  • Saturday shifts are from 9 am to 6 pm

Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities

  • Dispensing prescription items and packaging medications in compliance with pharmacy standards
  • Applying appropriate labels on products
  • Participating in pharmacy inventory checks
  • Receiving and stocking medication supplies
  • Preparing various medications, including compounding when necessary
  • Providing professional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Handling returned medications and assisting in employee training

Pharmacy Technician Requirements

  • Pharmacy Technician License preferred but not required
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Perfect attendance during the initial 90-day period
