**Team Leader, Warehouse & Logistics - 2nd shift**

**Job Purpose:**

Functions as a team leader in providing subject matter guidance to more junior team members in performing all aspects of GMP warehousing operations for vaccines to include shipping, receiving, general warehouse and cold storage inventory management, movement of raw materials/consumables and finished product, while functioning as part of a high-performance work team.

**Major Accountabilities**

Provides subject matter guidance to more junior team members and allocate work to ensure daily activities are completed.

Follows all safety, GMP, and environmental requirements in the performance of duties as well as when managing team.

Maintains up to date training status in all required areas for team and self.

Identifies and provides guidance on risks inherent to the processing, handling and storage of hazardous materials.

Identifies process improvements for warehouse operations and provides solutions to improve efficiency and quality.

Demonstrates ownership for SOPs for warehouse operations to include creation and revision.

Subject Matter expert on all relevant warehouse equipment and operations and conducts training accordingly.

Inventory control including put-away, storage, picking, issuance, return and disposal of raw materials, components, supplies and finished product.

Performance and reconciliation of periodic cycle counts for warehouse inventory.

Preparation and shipping of finished product as needed

Loads/unloads trailers as needed

**Minimum Requirements:**

High school diploma/GED with 7+ years related experience or associates degree with 5+ years related experience or bachelors degree with 4+ years OR equivalent.

Demonstrated leader with experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and/or sterile production environments and warehouse operations

Expert in all GMP /department documentation and ability to guide /train more junior team members on such matters

Subject Matter expert in understanding and providing guidance on risks inherent to the processing, handling and storage of hazardous materials

Experience with SAP required

CFR49 and IATA HAZMAT certification required

Experience with Powered Material Handling Equipment required

Experience in a GMP and Manufacturing Plant Warehouse required

Demonstrated leader in the solving of problems that arise with little or no precedent

Knowledge of customs import permitting requirements preferred

Experience using Excel functions such as VLOOKUP and pivot tables preferred.
