O'Donnell & Dennis, CPAs, LLC, a family-owned, full-service public accounting firm located in Longmont, CO, provides tax, accounting, bookkeeping and business consulting services to businesses and individuals. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented self-starter with 3+ years of public accounting tax experience for a newly created position leading tax and accounting engagements for a diverse roster of clients including clients in the construction, dental, real estate and manufacturing industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare corporate, partnership, individual, and trust & estate income tax returns
  • Lead engagements throughout all aspects of accounting including tax research, planning and monthly tax reporting
  • Complete write-up and trial balance work
  • Provide tax and business consulting to clients while fostering professional client relationships

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting
  • 3+ years of recent public accounting tax experience progressing in scope and responsibilities
  • CPA license or on track to obtain CPA license and/or an EA License
  • Attention to detail with strong communication, organizational, analytical, client service, problem solving and PC skills including Microsoft Office, QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop proficiency (Thompson Reuters software proficiency including UltraTax CS, Practice CS, Fixed Assets CS, FileCabinet CS and Accounting CS is a plus.)
  • Ability to work independently, juggle priorities, meet deadlines and work effectively with a team-oriented environment
