F.I.R.S.T. Institute's mission is to prepare students for successful entry-level careers in the digital media industry. The training philosophy centers on intensive, hands-on education, interactive distance learning, and continual advancement in technology.

About the Role

The Registrar serves as the liaison between current students and alumni and the Institute. The registrar maintains all student records and updates them as needed. The registrar maintains our student information database virtually and maintains student physical files.

This position will report directly to the Director of Financial Aid and will have no direct reports.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Maintain student electronic database
  • Maintain physical student files
  • Place online orders for distance learning students
  • Place online orders for caps and gowns
  • Participate in transcripts and diploma issuing at graduation time
  • Participate and coordinate registration efforts
  • Help troubleshoot student issues with the student electronic database
  • Maintain graduation statutes timely
  • Ensure course mapping of all students inside the student electronic database
  • Work with the educational staff and financial aid staff to ensure proper recording of attendance for students
Schedule
  • Monday - Thursday: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
  • Friday: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • Off Saturday and Sunday
Recommended Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree OR equivalent work experience
Requirement
  • High School Diploma or GED
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to physically access and navigate each department at our facility.

Salary Range: $19 - $22 an Hour
