Duties:

  • Serves as the technical leader and senior SIGINT analyst in the command and primary liaison between ACIC and NSA analysis and production elements.
  • Serves as the SIGINT Support Element (SSE) lead analyst responsible for managing, directing, and fusing SIGINT for ACIC.
  • Maintains awareness of internal and external collection requirement and priorities.
  • Identify collections requirements in the form of Information Needs (IN) as reflected in the Unified Engagement Environment (UEE) as well as tactical requirements in national systems such as PRISM.
  • Researches and analyzes social networks and COMINT externals data using NSA databases and tools to develop patterns of life, network exploitation, and target development of foreign targets and/or organizations of interest.

  • Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • In accordance with Change 3 to AR 60085, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a TS (or equivalent level) investigation with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
  • TDY travel is required 10% or less of the time.
  • Required to take and maintain a current counterintelligence scope polygraph
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain access to National Security Agency and Defense Intelligence Agency accredited facilities and networks.

  • To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience performed at the next lower grade (GG/GS12) level position in the federal service which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience in two or more of the followings; 1). providing Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) support to various agencies. 2). Researching and analyzing data to develop intelligence products. 3).

Utilizing one or more of the following databases:
PULSE, GATEKEEPER, UEE, Analyst's Notebook, IC Reach, Proton, SILENT DAGGER, RMT, TIDE, SAVANT, PINPOINT, and MIST.

  • Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligencerelated research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled.

This experience should demonstrate:

Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.
