  • Maintain baseline system security according to organizational policies.
  • Monitor and maintain system/server configuration.
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software interface and interoperability problems.
  • Coordinate with external agencies to ensure maximum interoperability between KBSC Unified Communications and external UC resources.
  • Monitors system performance and takes corrective actions when required.
  • Conduct functional and connectivity testing to ensure continuing operability
  • Develop and document systems administration standard operating procedures.
  • Skill in securing network communications.
  • Ability to operate different electronic communication systems and methods (e.g., e-mail, VOIP, IM, web forums, Direct Video Broadcasts).
  • Ensure application of security patches for commercial products integrated into system design meet the timelines dictated by the management authority for the intended operational environment.
  • Ensures all communications between servers, local and remote sites, and clients are fully operational.
  • Responsible for supporting on-site system testing to insure interoperability solutions between US, Korean, Japan, and other coalition systems
  • Provides 12 hour coverage during exercise periods to include working shifts when required to include night shift.
  • Demonstrate a keen understanding of the importance of the need for exceptional customer-contractor relationships.
  • Maintains 100% equipment accountability. This includes hardware, software, and all system accessories.
  • Must be able to travel CONUS AND OCONUS when travel is required.
  • Assists in ALL other Technical Support Branch operations when required.

  • Demonstrate knowledge in Information Systems and Information Technology as described and required by the task.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with Cisco Call Managers version 11.5 or newer
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with Cisco Meeting Server version 3.5 or newer
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with Cisco Jabber Server version 11.5 or newer
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with Cisco video endpoints to include SX-20s, SX-80s, and Room Kits Must be eligible to upgrade security clearance to TOP SECRET.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain IAT Level II and the appropriate computing environment certifications IAW DoDM 8140.03 such as Security+ CE
