IMMEDIATE HIRING PARAMEDIC PER-DIEMOpportunity

$26.44 per hour (rate incentives for working on call shifts)

Independence, IAParamedic Starting Pay is Commensurate with Experience (see EqualPay Statement below).

We'rehiring Paramedics that are passionateabout delivering compassionate, high-quality service and basic, aswell as advanced, patient care to ourcustomers.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess each callsituation to determine the best course of action while working withprogressive Paramedic protocols.
  • Utilize yourParamedic skills on medical equipment and procedures includingdefibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, andintravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
  • Communicate with patients and loved ones toprovide information and assurance that care is being given.
  • Act as Paramedic team leader and takeresponsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
  • Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
  • Work collaboratively and in a professionalmanner with all allied health and public safety personnel as wellas your fellow Paramedics.

Other Responsibilities:
  • Participate in community programs tomaintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

Minimum RequiredQualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent(GED)
  • State Paramedic License
  • State Driver's License
  • BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
  • Driving record incompliance with company policy
  • Pass PhysicalAgility Test
  • Some work experience, preferablyin healthcare
