This recruitment for Investigative Analyst I shall support the INTERPOL Operations Command Center (IOCC), the Foreign Notices Program, and other USNCB operational divisions if requested. There are currently multiple positions available.

The work schedule for IOCC is 4x10 with shift and weekend work schedules. The USNCB is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week mission. The positions are hybrid with in-person required in Washington, DC. 

Work arrangement: Hybrid

Work schedule: The USNCB is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week mission.  There are two (2) shifts - must be flexible to work any shifts (7am-5pm, 12pm-10pm)

Clearance: Current Secret Clearance is required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generate electronic case files in INTERPOL Washington’s internal case management system, including data entry and uploading of preliminary investigative findings.
  • Transmit investigative information through international and domestic telecommunication systems in response to routine investigative and humanitarian inquiries 
  • Answer and respond to phone inquiries from both domestic and international law enforcement partners
  • Perform database queries in domestic and international law enforcement, compliance, and/or inspection computer systems to identify, gather, and organize investigative leads.
  • Enter lookouts on foreign criminals into U.S. databases.
  • Inspect electronic case files and various documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • 1+ years of experience performing the basic tasks of this position as described in the duties and responsibilities
  • Experience with various software is essential, e., Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Access and Excel
  • Experience applying analytical and evaluation methods and techniques
  • US Citizen; must possess an active Secret clearance.
