Senior Chinese Investigative Specialist for Commercial Risk Management

We are seeking an experienced Senior Chinese Investigative Specialist to join our Commercial Risk Management team at TD International in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience conducting investigations for commercial clients and/or professional services firms, with a strong focus on China and Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities- Lead complex investigative projects, including corporate fraud and white-collar crime, litigation support, market entry research, and whistleblower FCPA investigations.
- Provide leadership and supervision to analysts and senior analysts in conducting research, analysis, and report writing for clients.
- Collaborate with senior investigators on commercial fraud, supply chain theft, insider threat, DDOS attack, and adversarial campaigns.
- Communicate findings to clients and the management team through oral and written presentations.
- Subject matter expertise in investigative litigation support, commercial fraud investigations, multi-jurisdictional investigations, reputational due diligence, or sector-specific knowledge (e.g., telecommunications, energy, environmental activism).
- Strong project management skills, outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional proficiency in Chinese and a Bachelor's degree in international relations, political science, regional studies, business, or related area of study required; Master's degree preferred.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in investigative work, preferably in a fast-paced environment, with entrepreneurial, consulting, or similar backgrounds.
Compensation: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on knowledge, skills, attributes, experience, training, licensure, certifications, location, travel requirements, and other business needs.
