Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Fairfield, CA

Employment Type: Full-Time

Contract Duration: 2024-2025 School Year

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (with a 30-minute lunch; start and end times can be adjusted, e.g., 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM)

Overview: We are seeking 2-3 highly qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2024-2025 school year in Fairfield, CA. These full-time, onsite positions involve working across all grade levels and providing comprehensive speech and language services to students with diverse needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct Services: Provide speech and language therapy to students, including those who use AAC devices and PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System).

  • Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans based on students specific needs.

  • Collaboration: Work with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication goals and integrate therapy into the classroom setting.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other necessary documentation.

  • Familiarity with SEIS: Utilize SEIS (Special Education Information System) for tracking and managing special education services, if applicable.

Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Must hold a valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in California.

  • Experience: Experience working with students with diverse needs, including those using AAC devices and PECS, is preferred.

  • SEIS Familiarity: Familiarity with SEIS (Special Education Information System) is a plus.
