Overview

The Financial Manager position will perform complex analysis and develop plans including budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned portion of a program.  
Responsibilities

The Financial Manager's position responsibilities include:

  • Performing complex analysis and developing plans that include budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned portion of a program.
  • Serving as a key technical expert on financial analysis issues, concerns and special projects.
  • Participating in researching, establishing and defining program plan requirements; prepare detailed narrative to justify budget estimate and monitor execution.
  • Coordinating interdepartmental development of program plans and interfaces with vendors and customers as required Monitor and report performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met.
  • Reporting, analyzing and interpreting financial and operating data. 
  • Conducting program plan studies.
  • Supervising junior financial analysts and providing team leadership by defining program plan requirements.
  • Participating in establishing and defining program plan requirements.
  • Coordinating, negotiating and resolving financial compliance issues with various governmental agencies to ensure accurate interpretation of contract requirements.
  • Interfacing with top management responding to requests for financial data.
  • Briefing program/project budget estimates/projections, shortfalls, over-runs, funding types, etc.

 


Qualifications

  • Available to deploy to other countries and/or theaters to perform quick reaction technical support to US forces worldwide military contingency missions and requirements in potentially hazardous work environments.
  • Able to perform all duties to ensure timely, courteous and quality support to INSCOM or other customers/affiliates.
