Job Description:
Soliant Education is currently seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team in Suffield, Connecticut. The selected candidates will work onsite with students from kindergarten through 12th grade, providing specialized instruction and support to meet their individual needs. These positions offer exciting opportunities to make a positive impact on the academic and personal growth of students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
  • Provide differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure the success of students
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
  • Connecticut teaching certification in Special Education
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
