Cyber Threat Project Analyst

Key Role:

Process and analyze cyber threat intelligence data and compile standard and ad-hoc reports as needed. Leverage expertise of cyber data and information, analyze and identify data requirements, use specialized tools and services, and develop intelligence products. Apply specific functional knowledge, including working and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance, and review or guide activities of more junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in cyber threat risk identification, prioritization, remediation, and monitoring

  • Experience leveraging Splunk or database and analytic programs to organize cyber threat data and turn it into visual products

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and defensive cyber operational principles

  • Ability to convey technical data to non-technical levels of management to inform senior decision-makers

  • Ability to effectively brief and present to client cyber leadership

  • Ability to function independently without step-by-step instructions

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of advanced cybersecurity principles

  • Ability to create and manage large amounts of cyber threat data in Splunk

  • Ability to leverage Tableau, Power BI, or other visualization tools to receive cyber threat data, organize it, and visualize it into interactive dashboards

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
