This role is responsible for providing technical and operational oversight to a variety of ongoing projects across a wide range of disciplines and customers as part of our support to National Security Innovation Network (NSIN) in Applied Technical Disciplines (ATDs) that include Advanced Training, Autonomy & Artificial Intelligence (AI), Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber-Defense and Combat Systems and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C6ISR), Cyber, Directed Energy, Hypersonics, Modeling & Simulation, Quantum, Science, Engineering & Technology (SE&T), and Space Tech & Operations. Successful candidate will effectively scale technical management of multiple, simultaneous projects, executed against Technical Development Plans (TDPs), working with market-focused TDP leads to ensure successful execution and customer satisfaction. Successful support will include leveraging available Booz Allen and external resources, as well as frequent coordination with the Program Management Office (PMO) to assist and provide oversight in the areas of contracting, subcontracting, financial tracking and reporting, project scheduling, project status reporting, risk management, problem resolution, technical resource management and solution development, and planning for future activities. In addition, candidate will work with TDP leads to address customer issues promptly and accurately, develop rapid resolution procedures, recommend process improvements to support constant operational efficiencies and cost effectiveness of the PMO, deliver solutions to operationally relevant issues and impacts in customer engagements, support Engineering Reviews by speaking to and addressing operational implications of decisions and associated risk, and contribute content related to successful system integration, operations and sustainability. Ensures adherence to quality standards established within PMO Quality Management Plan and achievement of successful performance and quality metrics delivery. Support spans all phases of life cycle design, development, test and operational deployment and sustainment to ensure capabilities meet mission CONOPS and mission partner requirements.

You Have:

• 10+ years of experience working on programs and projects in one or more of the identified Applied Technical Disciplines (ATDs) defined above with experience across the entire project life cycle
• Experience in managing multi-Technical Development Plans (TDPs)/projects in response to multi-Technical Direction Letters (TDLs) and multi-tenant environment
• Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams
• Ability to assess risk, identify program or project challenges, and identify resources or provide appropriate solutions
• Ability to work with industry, government, and academia leaders and quickly translate ideas and concepts into technical products and solutions
• Ability to work in a high tempo, cross-geography program environment and flexibly pivot as required with changing priorities and needs
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Nice If You Have:

• Experience as a subject matter expertise (SME) in mission areas of C5ISR, Missile Defense, Space Operations, Non-Kinetics integration, Warfighting Operations, sustainment, and Command and Control (C2)
• Experience in documenting customer issues and recommending process improvements
• Experience with maturing technologies, such as supporting concept development, prototyping, fielding, and production
• Experience in military or government service
• Experience with contracts, subcontracts, or teaming
• Ability to provide a broad set of engineering, technological, scientific, mechanical, and environmental disciplines at all stages of capability development
• Ability to present and deliver information on operationally relevant issues and impacts through in-person customer engagements
• Possession of strong written and verbal communication skills across multiple levels of management
• TS/SCI clearance
• Master's degree in an engineering field preferred; Doctorate degree in an engineering field a plus

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,700.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
