Qualifications:
- Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (RID, NIC, or equivalent)
- Experience providing sign language interpretation in an educational setting
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students
- Strong understanding of deaf culture and educational needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional degrees or certifications are a plus
Position Overview:
Soliant Education is seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter for a position in Danville, KY. In this role, you will assist students who are deaf or hard of hearing by providing sign language interpretation in the classroom, ensuring full access to academic content and activities.
