This role offers a hands-on opportunity to be involved in both the technical and coordination aspects of engineering design within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Support the development of mechanical system designs through tasks such as:Conducting on-site assessments and field verificationsPerforming HVAC load and energy efficiency calculations (Title 24)Drafting duct layouts and system schematicsPreparing equipment schedules and specificationsAssisting in the development of mechanical control diagramsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, structural engineers, civil consultants, and electrical designers to ensure design consistency and integrationHelp manage the organization of construction document sets and contribute to responses during construction phases (e.g., RFIs, submittals, revisions)Participate in internal reviews to ensure quality and accuracy of technical drawings and project documentationPreferred Qualifications:Proficient in AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit is highly desirableSolid understanding of mechanical systems, with exposure to California building codes and construction processesStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a project teamField or hands-on construction experience is an assetBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred, though not required with relevant experienceInterested in hearing more?
