Our Insurance Defense Practice is growing, and we are seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join our team.Position Overview:The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of experience supporting attorneys in insurance defense matters, including general liability, premises liability, and auto claims. This is a hands-on role requiring strong case management, organization, and communication skills.Key Responsibilities:Manage all phases of litigation from inception through trial and appealDraft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and correspondenceOrganize and maintain physical and electronic case filesCoordinate and manage discovery, including document production and medical record summariesPrepare deposition summaries, trial notebooks, and exhibit bindersAssist attorneys with trial preparation and supportCommunicate professionally with clients, witnesses, experts, and court personnelMonitor deadlines and maintain docketing systemsQualifications:Minimum 3 years of litigation paralegal experience; insurance defense preferredParalegal certificate or degree strongly preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office and legal practice management software (e.g., TrialDirector, CaseMap, or similar)Strong understanding of Texas state and federal court rules and proceduresExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and proactive work ethicInterested in hearing more?
